"We didn't get the qualifying lap that we were hoping for and that put us behind right from the start. The guys worked really hard on the Hunt Brothers Pizza Ford throughout the race, but we were never able to get the car where we needed it to be."
"Wally and the guys have brought me a good Hunt Brothers Pizza Ford this week-end and we think we have a good shot of racing our way into the All-Star event, but we’ve also been going full throttle trying to get our fans to vote us into the event to be doubly sure we get in."
"We started deep in the field in our Hunt Brothers Pizza Ford Fusion for tonight’s race but we fought hard and really showed we’re able to get up there."
"Darlington is a great track both from a driver perspective and for the fans. As a driver, it’s a track that will test you in every way possible. I think you have to be patiently aggressive at Darlington."
"I love going to Richmond. I consider it my home track so there will be plenty of family and friends on hand to watch this Saturday night, and, of course, all the great fans. They’ll definitely see some good short-track racing under the lights."
"It’s definitely wild with this new spoiler. It’s definitely wild racing and bump drafting and it’s just Talladega at the end. I’m not sure what happened. I felt like I got hit in the right rear and turned up in the wall, but I don’t know what happened."
"I love Talladega. Like so many tracks we go to, it‘s rich with history. It‘s just a cool place and it‘s a track I‘ve had some success at. We ran really strong there in this race last spring and then we finished in the top 10 in the fall race."
"We started off pretty good, but we still have to work on our communication a little bit. We’re still a young team and Wally is crew chiefing a lot of times for the first time at these tracks, so he and I still have to work on our communication."
"Obviously, I have really good feelings about Texas Motor Speedway since it was one of the tracks I won at back in 2004. It’s always been a really great track for me and it couldn’t have come at a better time."
"It wasn’t our best night. The track changed throughout the race and we could never really keep up with it. We missed it a bit heading into the race and then we just couldn’t make our Stanley Ford any better."
"I honestly can’t believe this weekend will mark my 400th career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series start. I’m really fortunate to be able to be in this position. I get to do a job I really love, work with really great people and I’ve been able to win some races along the way."
“The car was really tight in the center for most of the race. We couldn’t quite get that adjusted like we needed to. Overall though. The No. 19 Stanley Ford Fusion was good."
“Racing at Bristol last week was close to home, but this weekend is definitely racing at home to me. I was born and raised about 150 miles from the speedway so I spent a lot of time there growing up watching my brother race."
“Today was not what we came here hoping for. This No. 19 Stanley Ford team fought hard and I know we have what it takes. We’ve got a lot of work to do and I’m hoping the testing we did at Darlington and this past week at the Little Rock (Rockingham) track will help us find better results next week at Martinsville."
“I’m definitely looking forward to Bristol this weekend. The track is one of the best we go to and the racing there is always exciting. This track is special to me since it’s the spot where I grabbed my first career win back in 2001."
“It was a frustrating day. We took a shim out of the left-front shock and that hurt us a lot. The front end of the car kept hitting the race track and then we put a rubber in the right-rear and that kind of made it worse."
“I like Atlanta Motor Speedway. It's a very fast track. You know, we came out of the box with a pretty strong run at Daytona but didn't have the finish to show for it."
“We really thought our Stanley Ford Fusion was going to be a lot better than that on race day. I’m not sure why we were so far off for a while, but by the time we started to make the changes that we needed to really get our car better, it was just too late."
"Vegas is such a fun, one-of-a-kind city. The track is great and the fan, of course, are awesome. Maybe Lady Luck and the fun atmosphere is just the right mix to get things going for No. 19 Stanley Ford Fusion."
Elliott Sadler started the Auto Club 500 at Auto Club Speedway in the 37th position. The No. 19 Stanley Ford Fusion crew thought they had made considerable improvements to the car in Saturday’s final practice and felt that would be enough to launch Sadler up through the field once the green flag flew for Sunday’s race.
Elliott Sadler and the No. 19 Stanley Ford Fusion team didn't waste much time getting to the front of the field after starting 12th in Sunday's season-opening Daytona 500.
“I feel really good about this season. I am excited to be back with the Ford Racing family. I’ve had success in the past running Fords so I have a lot of optimism going into the Daytona 500."
The 2010 NASCAR Season kicks off on Sunday, February 14th at Daytona International Speedway. Stay tuned for more updates!
